Access control

Access control may be a security technique that regulates who or what can view or use resources during a computing environment. it’s a fundamental concept in security that minimizes risk to the business or organization.

To secure a facility, organizations use electronic access control systems that believe user credentials, access card readers, auditing and reports to trace employee access to restricted business locations and proprietary areas, like data centers. Major use of these systems are to setup limit entry to rooms or buildings added to this setup as alarms and lock down capabilities to stop unauthorized access or operations.
